Ochiltree's Dining

The new restaurant in the Abbotsford Visitor Centre required its own sub-brand which would complement the main Abbotsford brand. The restaurant was named Ochiltree's after a character from Walter Scott's Book, The Antiquary, and a statue of Eddie Ochiltree can be found in the garden at Abbotsford. The use of Gill Sans reflects the font used for the overarching Abbotsford brand.

"Bremner Design was commissioned in 2011 to provide a new brand for Abbotsford to help launch the restoration of the House and the creation of a new Visitor Centre. A further variety of related design projects followed including branding and promotions for Ochiltree's restaurant.

Abbotsford now has recognition across the globe and the work undertaken by Bremner Design was pivotal in turning Abbotsford into a high profile global cultural brand"
