Rachel Hazell

Hazel is an accomplished book artist who writes and illustrates her own and clients work through printing and binding all manner of book related projects. She exhibits her creations at venues across the country as well as conducting workshops at some of the most prestigious art colleges in the UK. Her work has been partly influenced by travels to Korea, Amsterdam and particularly a recent journey to Antartica. Clients are from a variety of industries and include authors, galleries, businesses, councils and fashion designers.

BD was commissioned to design within a budget promotional material that had to include a booklet that would be in keeping with the creative accomplishments of Hazell, postcards that could be used for a variety of purposes and stationery. The response from potential clients of Hazell has been very positive and work has continued to keep this book artist’s schedule of work full for a number of months ahead.
