Moving Stories

Like many British school, Bruntsfield Primary School in Edinburgh has pupils from many diverse cultural backgrounds, some arriving a short while ago to the city, others are first, second even third generation families who retain their cultural identity. It became a project for everyone to participate in – pupils, parents, families – to write and illustrate stories of a member of their family and their first impressions of life in Scotland. The resulting book “Moving Stories” that BD was commissioned to design from the huge range of material provided by the children was very successful and a sell out. A budget was provided to design and print in full colour this hard cover iconic 2006 book.
